Without knowing the specific type of Seagate HDD you have, I can only answer in general terms. The Thrive Tablet has a full-sized USB 2.0 port. Most hard drive are setup for FAT32; the Thrive Tablet is compatible with XFAT drives. You must first reformat the hard drive and then make the connection. Use the Toshiba File Manager supplied with the Thrive Tablet to copy/move files between the two devices. Hope this helps.

Yes. The Thrive Tablet comes preinstalled with QuickOffice which allows you to READ Microsoft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and Powerpoint presentations. In order to create/edit documents, you need to upgrade to an application with editing capabilities. Two examples of this type of app include QuickOffice Pro HD and Documents-to-Go. Both are offered through Android Market.

Yes. The Thrive has a real GPS chip similar to what a Garmin or TomTom has and without wifi or cell towers, as long as it has a clear view of the sky and is locked, it can determine your location with the precision of any other standard consumer GPS (you might need ot enable it in the location settings).

Android is built for multi-tasking. A system bar was added to the Honeycomb UI to make multi-tasking even easier as the user can see and tap into any of the apps they have open.

YouTube, however, doesn’t have the capability to in multiple windows – it’s one video at a time. If the user wants to leave YouTube and go into another app, YouTube will stay open (the video stops) but the video won’t play while in another app. It’s no different on the iPad.

Yes,

Although you will have to look for a usb internet device that has drivers available for andriod.
Most USB devices are detected by android without problems (keyboards/ Mice/ Thumb drives etc) but specials you have to make sure the device/manufacture supports android.

No Tablet and specially HONEYCOMB is designed to decipher various 3G USB softwares. To read 3G Data card, software is needed. These FULL size USB are designed to read storage devices only and not application based/software based devices. So 3G data card cannot be read by THRIVE
