No, the internal storage cannot be upgraded; however you can take advantage of the Thrive Tablet (10-inch)'s full-size SD Card slot to add to total storage. It will accept as much as a 64GB card.

Cookies and Browsing history may be deleted using the Privacy Settings in the Android Operating system. Simply click on the Settings icon, then go to Privacy Settings. On the right you will be able to clear cookies, cache and browsing history.

Tablets in general are driven by the Android operating system. Microsoft Word was not developed for that platform. The Thrive Tablet (10-inch) does include Quickoffice® (Trial version) which allows you to read Office documents and PDF files. On Google Play (http://play.google.com) you can upgrade to the FULL VERSION for Android, called Quickoffice Pro HD. This program allows you to CREATE, EDIT, & SHARE, Microsoft® Office files on your tablet!

Good news! Toshiba has rolled out Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich to our Thrive Tablet (10-inch) TODAY, August 6th. Systems will automatically update upon connection to the Internet. You can also use the TOSHIBA Service Station utility to update your Thrive Tablet, if you do not have your system set to auto-update.

The Thrive Tablet (10-inch) and laptop/PC can be connected using the mini-USB port on the Tablet. A mini-USB to USB cable was supplied with the tablet. Connect the two and the Microsoft Windows operating system will find and install the device (AT100).

The laptop/PC will control all functions from here, but you will still be able to transfer or read data on the Thrive Tablet (10-inch).
