Question

How Do I Get a Software Update for the BDX2000KU ?

I currently have version 1.02 on my BDX2000KU Blue Ray Player. Is there a newer version? I don't have Wi-Fi capability with this Blue Ray Player. How can I retrieve a sofrware update? Can I use a DVD or do I need an SD card?? If the update is available on thisis website, where is located? Thank you,

The newest firmware for your device is 1.013, which is newer than your firmware. It is available from the Downloads section of our support site, which you can find at the following link:

http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/...

You will need to burn the firmware update to a CD-R and press the correct sequence of buttons on your remote. Please see the firmware installation instructions at the same link for details.

The easiest way to connect your Blu-ray player is to use an HDMI cable plugged into your player’s “HDMI Out” port and your TV’s “HDMI In” port. For more information, please see your TV’s user’s guide or your Blu-ray player’s user’s guide at the following link:

Question

I am not familiar with the Olevia 232S13. However you might try changing the resolution output of the BDX2200KU to a different resolution like 720p and see if that helps any. Not all TV’s will display a 1080p signal.

Question

sound at fast-forward speeds

We have a Toshiba 'DVD' player which has sound at the 2x fast-foward speed. This seems to be a very rare feature; most players automatically mute the sound at all fast-forward speeds, and for some reason it's impossible to choose to unmute it. How about the current Toshiba 'Blue-ray' players?
