If you press the input button on the television and the screen is still blank then it sound like you have a hardware problem. Otherwise check your input source.

I know this was probably answered already but I have seen a number of "?" regarding PC resolution on your/their HDTV and it being terrible. I have my comp. and everything else running from my receiver all HDMI and an ethernet cat6 hardplugged from it to my router. I have 1 HDMI cable going to my tv. even if you just have your PC straight connected to your TV my recommendation is which I use and has SIGNIFICANTLY improved my picture quality is dl a program called powerstrip ver3.9 Don't be scared it has ALOT of features but it is fairly simple to use. just dl it run it and set it up. I LOVE my Toshiba tv its the best thing I have ever bought, I just wish the firmware gave you more options and features. I guess they wanted to make it easier by keeping most of that control.

All the best

That doesn’t appear to be a valid model number. Double-check your model number. You might also want to try checking the user’s guide.

be sure to go into "settings" in your twcable set up. there is a settings button on remote that opens a menu. you need to go into tw menu and find hd resolutions and change them to 1080i , 720p, or automatic.... cable box does not always
send hd signals to tv unless set to.

The TV should automatically displa 1080p signals in 1080p. To change the picture size, repeatedly press the “PIC SIZE” button.

Question

can I hookup my 24sl410U to my win7 computer using the hdmi connector.

I wanted to use the 24SL410U as a second monitor. When I connect the HDMI cable between them (computer and tv) I get no signal on the screen. I know that if I use the RGB/PC connector it works but then I can't use the other monitor as it only has a RGB/PC connector.

Is there some software (drivers) update I should download? I have a window 7 professional with core i7 and a HDMI connector.

I appreciate your suggestion to resolve this problem.

Thank You

Found out part of the problem was the HDMI cable. Even though it was new no signal was coming from the computer to the monitor. After replacing it with another brand the screen was then active. It took a while with some outside help to get both monitors adjusted to operate at their best.

Some laptops have an RGB/PC port as well as an HDMI port but can only use one at a time. This could be the case here. Try using the TV connected via HDMI without the monitor connected.

Without a model number, I can’t give specific device. The remote should have an INPUT button that can be pressed to switch inputs.
