This netbook uses the same chipset as every other Atom-based netbook - the Mobile 945 chipset. You can plug in an SSD drive and it'll work just fine, but I'm pretty sure the 945 chipset only supports SATA I transfer rates.

There is a single small speaker, which reduces cost and power requirements, which necessarily limits the available volume. I suspect the intent is that the speaker is merely there for system sounds, attention 'dings', etc., and that music listening, voip, or gaming is done with headphones or external speakers. I have been using a competitor's netbook for some time and, even thought the unit's stereo speakers are quite good, in real-world use, I find myself using headphones most of the time. Although somewhat disappointing, I think this is a reasonable design decision.

Yes, there is a built-in mic. If you use the zoom tool on our photo gallery, you can clearly see it next to the webcam.

Here is a link to our photo gallery for the NB200.

I said the normal speaker are extremely low, so you need to buy separete speaker or use headset, but beside that you paid for what you get, size, no dvd drive, and very small screen
